- Hi readers,
-
- I just want to ask a little on the effects of a 2nd hard disk on a
- modem's connection. Ever since I opened up my computer to hook up my
- old hard disk (245 MB) to work together with my new one (540 MB), I
- got comm overrun reports in Trumpet Winsock.
-
- Another questionable thing might be that I am using Netscape 2.0
- because the overrun usually comes out when my harddisk is SLOWLY AND
- HEAVILY reading cache files for Netscape. I've checked out that
- Netscape 2.0's windows (or whatever you call those different
- individual sections in a page) like the one in the Netsearch takes a
- lot of memory (+- 1MB) in my computer.
-
- Thanks.
